• Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Here you'll find there are many ways to navigate through the postings. Try the new tag cloud below; or search by a key word (top right); or you can just follow the links at the top and bottom of every posting. For example, clicking on 'resources' in the tag cloud will give you all the downloads on this site.

Clicking on the title of any posting will give you a feedback form for any comments that you'd care to leave and it will also expand the posting to its full form.

Oh, and there's always the guestbook ;) [the link on the tab the top]

I hope you enjoy the blog and find something useful, informative or entertaining.

    Andrew :)

Come over to our place

It is up and running at last! What? Sheesh, where have you been? – The English Teaching Space that’s what. Yes, I know, I know – a) I need to calm down and b) explain.

ETS 2

The English Teaching Space is a new website for teachers of English in Schools. It is supported by the Training and Development Agency and all three English Associations here in the UK. With a group of others, I have been helping in a very small way to shape it, but most of the credit goes to Adrian Burke and James Bullock for creating (at last) a place for English teachers to share, well, just about everything really.

Let’s see, on (in?) the space you can: record and share CPD; share resources; chat; send messages (text, audio & video); create groups; and even post advertisements! The site is ‘media-rich’ and, although it’s still technically ‘in beta’ (that’s ’second or third draft’ for non-techy folk), it’s ready to receive new members. That’s where you come in…

What are you waiting for?
